Urgent! Architecture Sr. Advisor Position in Bloomfield - The Cigna Group
Position Overview:
Join us! We are looking for talented IT professionals (CT-based or Remote) with hands-on experience in IT solution architecture.
Cigna Digital IT team is looking for a highly motivated experienced solution architect (Architecture Senior Advisor) who can deliver value for business through their deep understanding of business functions, technology landscape, design trends and lead the solution architecture that meets the long-term objectives and competitive market needs.
As an Architecture Senior Advisor, the key responsibilities are as follows.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business, stake holders, external partners, and development teams to identify opportunities/needs and define strategy and the architecture solution.
Ensure that architecture solutions align to defined business strategies and meets long term objectives, architecture runway, and market needs.
Provide technical and architecture leadership to digital platforms.
Design and implement highly scalable and reliable solution architectures.
Conduct architecture reviews to ensure the platform meets the desired requirements and is aligned with the overall business architecture.
Use of advancements, such as machine learning and artificial intelligence in architecture solution as required.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Support the evolution and visibility of strategic roadmaps, helping to ensure the architecture direction is robust, understood and is an influential asset for all delivery work.
Reduce operational costs and improve system efficiency, customer experience, and satisfaction through technical design solutions.
Deep understanding of computational models, systems architecture, and software development.
Knowledge of Services Oriented Architecture
In-depth understanding of web services, micro services, RESTful services.
Familiarity with architectural design concepts (multi-tiered, distributed, OOA, MVC etc)
Background working with web and mobile applications in a large-scale enterprise
Strong Data Analysis skills with experience funneling data from multiple systems in a large-scale enterprise
Good foundation in Data Mapping & Data Modelling.
Familiarity with NoSQL, Mongo and Cloud Architecture a plus.
Familiarity with front-end technologies a plus (javascript, Angular, reactjs, html)
Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate business functionality and opportunities into system driven solutions
Excellent communication skills required to effectively influence and partner with leadership, business, external partners, and technical IT teams.
Proven collaboration skills: demonstrating ability to pull a diverse group of individuals with different goals together and facilitate productive discussions. Capable of driving decisions.
Has experience working in Agile delivery model.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Strong time management skills; highly organized and detail oriented. Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures.
Should have the business acumen to engage in stakeholder discussions with product owners, business leads and program managers
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related work experience.
Knowledge of the HealthCare industry and Mobile/Web technologies is preferred.
Strong technical background with a core competency in software development is desired.
AWS Certified Solution Architect preferred.
Knowledge of current technology trends and design patterns.
Proven experience in building strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including senior level executive sponsors
Ability to influence leaders, drive change and transformation while working across all levels of the organization
Hands on experience with Agile model.
