Job description

What You’ll Do

  • Advise client’s senior leadership on strategic workforce and business transformation initiatives to enable their business objectives.
  • Guide the strategic growth and go-to-market strategy for transformation initiatives, focused on people analytics and HR technology consulting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business and technology experts across Slalom to evolve our unified people analytics and HR technology offering
  • Engage market and capability leaders to uncover cross-selling opportunities and actively contribute to the expansion of Slalom’s business footprint
  • Establish and optimize Slalom’s people analytics/employee sensing processes to inform organizational strategies.
  • Contribute to exceptional client delivery by overseeing project quality, managing engagement risk, and optimizing project economics for successful outcomes.
  • Create thought leadership by developing perspectives that build upon best practices, speaking at industry events, and differentiating Slalom’s HR transformation capabilities.
  • What You’ll Bring

  • Proven ability to advise clients on aligning people strategies with business objectives, developing tailored solutions, and building clear enablement and implementation plans.

    Experience engaging with HR, IT, Finance, and Business leaders simultaneously to embed analytics into business decision-making.
  • Strong orientation toward uncovering critical client business challenges and translating them into actionable workforce experience and listening use cases that drive measurable business outcomes.

    Ability not just to visualize insights, but to frame them as change stories that shift behavior and organizational culture.
  • Experience leading business development efforts by shaping analytics-driven proposals, contributing thought leadership, and advising clients on the value of people analytics and HR technology solutions.
  • Proven ability to advise on aligning talent strategies with business objectives, developing tailored solutions, and building clear enablement and implementation plans.
  • Strong orientation toward uncovering critical client business challenges and translating them into actionable workforce experience and listening use cases that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Skills in designing and facilitating workshops with executive audiences that surface key business drivers and align them to critical people analytics strategies and interventions.

    Passionate about co-creation sessions that bring thought leadership while empowering clients.
  • Proficient in leveraging both quantitative and grounded qualitative methods to analyze business, talent, and employee experience data.

    Able to communicate statistical findings, insights, and implications clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience applying statistical methods, predictive modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to surface insights that inform talent and organizational decisions.

    Familiar with active and passive forms of data collection and analysis, including organizational network analysis (ONA).
  • Skilled in synthesizing complex workforce data into compelling, actionable narratives that resonate with executive, HR, and business audiences.
  • Familiarity with HRIS, talent management systems, and workforce analytics platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Viva Glint, Visier, OrgVue, Qualtrics), with the ability to integrate insights across systems.

    Ability to work with structured and unstructured HR data, partner with data engineers, and understand concepts like data pipelines and APIs across HR and business systems.
  • Ability to design and implement people analytics frameworks, KPIs, and benchmarks that measure employee experience, workforce effectiveness, and talent ROI.
  • Understanding how to apply machine learning (classification, clustering, recommendation systems) and natural language processing for employee feedback, recruiting, and engagement data.
  • Expertise in behavioral sciences, such as I/O psychology, to inform evidence-based recommendations, coach leaders on best practices, and orchestrate change management
  • Knowledge of bias detection, ethical use of employee data, GDPR/CCPA compliance, and emerging AI/HR regulations.
  • Skills in designing transparent communication and data governance structures to increase employee buy-in while ensuring security, quality, and responsible use of data.

    Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

    For this position, the base salary pay range for a Principal is $122,000 to $189,000.

    For Senior Principal level, the base salary is $140,000 to $217,000.

    In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

    Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.

    The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
