    JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    Penn State Learning, which supports undergraduate learning with peer tutors and peer-guided study groups, is interviewing applicants for jobs as peer tutors in matrices, multi-variable calculus and differential equations.

  • Candidates must be undergraduates at University Park expecting to graduate in Spring 6 or later.
  • Mathematics majors, engineering majors, and mathematics education majors are preferred.
  • Applicants are expected to have earned an A- or better in MATH , MATH and in MATH (or equivalent coursework).
  • We prefer candidates with prior tutoring experience or formal training in tutoring or teaching.
  • Tutors must be willing to provide one-on-one and small-group help to students in MATH through MATH and must be willing to participate in appropriate training as needed.
