:US Treasury
US Treasury manages TD Bank's Capital, Liquidity, and Interest Rate Risk.
We engage in stress testing and preparedness exercises to ensure adequate resources, while managing the balance sheet through market cycles.
US Treasury is organized into 7 Pillars: Capital, Liquidity, Asset Liability Management, Chief Investment Office, Recovery and Resolution Planning, US TDS Business Treasury, and the Office of the Deputy US Treasurer.
US Treasury is offering hybrid analyst opportunities in Mount Laurel, NJ, Charlotte, NC and/or New York City.
The position (s) will be “hybrid”, requiring a minimum of four days in the office.
Depth & Scope
Produces accurate and timely reporting for internal management, finance/business partners, executive leadership, and external regulators
Collaborates with Finance, Risk Management, Business Partners, and Regulatory Teams to support US Treasury (ALM, Liquidity and/or Capital) planning and reporting activities
Delivers insightful analysis and reporting to support internal management and fulfill external regulatory requirements
Leads or supports the documentation, productions, and submission of internal and regulatory reporting packages
Contributes to various operational activities and processes as assigned
Is knowledgeable of practices and procedures within own area of responsibility and keep abreast of emerging trends for own functional area
Conducts internal and external research projects; supports the development / delivery of presentations / communications to management or broader audience
Conduct reporting and / or meaningful analysis at the functional or enterprise level using results to draw conclusions, make recommendations, assess the effectiveness of programs/ policies/ practices
Adheres to internal policies / procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines
Acquire and apply expertise in the discipline, provide guidance, assistance and direction to others
Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts
Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite
Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriate
Protect the interests of the organization – identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high-risk activities as necessary
Experience:
Bachelors degree
4 years of relevant business experience and /or
Previous experience / knowledge of Business Process Management methodology
Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt certification is an asset
Excellent PC skills, proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proactive with a high degree of initiative and the ability to learn and adapt quickly
Ability to multitask and to work under high-volume and tight time restraints
Demonstrated maturity and professionalism with proven ability to liaise with senior manager and executive audiences
Superior relationship management skills, solid leadership ability, excellent organizational skills and strong business acumen
Ability to operate well in a high volume, demanding environment; adapt quickly and adjust priorities as required while managing tight timelines
Displays flexibility to adapt to, and work effectively within, a variety of situations, and with various individuals or groups
