**Equitable Audit Services**
With this internship, individuals will obtain a comprehensive view across the company and assist in meeting Company objectives spanning various subject matters.
Equitable Audit Services (EAS) provides independent and objective assurance and advisory consulting services through a highly competent and diverse team.
As a business partner, EAS assists management by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach in evaluating and improving the Company’s risk management, control, and governance processes.
The intern’s key responsibilities will include:
+ Assist in internal audit activities including discussions and inquiries to our business partners, identification and understanding of risk and controls, development and completion of testing, and the communication of results.
+ Assist in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing including updates to process documentation, completion of testing, and communication of results.
+ Assist in process improvement initiatives in the Department.
**Internship Details**
Dates: Nine week program starting in early June 2026
Location: Charlotte, NC or Syracuse, NY
Work Environment: Hybrid / Flexible (required to be in the office 2 days/week)
Hourly Rate: $22/hour
Housing: Intern housing available
**Qualifications**
+ Rising senior working towards four-year undergraduate degree or graduate student
+ Course work in Accounting, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Liberal Arts, Logistics, Technology, or other related fields
+ Experience with Microsoft Office products
+ Ability to work during the full 9-week program

**Effective Communications:** Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
**Self-Directed Growth and Development:** Understanding of the necessity of continuous personal growth; ability to gauge one's strengths, limitations and interests, and use of this knowledge for purposes of performance effectiveness and self-development.
