**Private, Personal, and Digital Banking Summer Intern 2026**

The Private, Personal, and Digital Banking (PP&D) Summer Internship is designed to develop future leaders in retail and digital banking.

This program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in delivering innovative banking solutions and exceptional client service in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

**Program Highlights**

+ **10–12-week summer internship** providing immersive experience within Private Retail and Digital Banking teams.
+ **Leader Connect Sessions:** Meet with members of our executive and leadership teams.

+ **Learning & Development:** Access a variety of learning platforms to support your professional growth.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

Please note, this is a general application to the CIBC intern program.

More details about the team and position will be shared during interviews.

+ **Support Client-Facing Teams:** Assist in day-to-day operations of retail and digital banking, including account management, client onboarding, and service delivery.
+ **Digital Banking Projects:** Participate in the development and testing of new digital banking features, mobile app enhancements, and online banking solutions.
+ **Data Analysis & Reporting:** Analyze client data and banking trends to support business decisions and improve the client experience.
+ **Process Improvement:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and service quality.
+ **Client Engagement:** Help prepare presentations, reports, and digital content to support client meetings and outreach initiatives.
+ **Market Research:** Conduct research on digital banking trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform business strategies.
+ **Administrative Support:** Assist with administrative tasks and special projects to support the broader team and business objectives.
+ **Learning & Networking:** Engage in learning sessions, mentorship, and networking opportunities to broaden your understanding of retail and digital banking.

**Who You Are**

+ **Currently enrolled** as a US-based college student, graduating in December 2026 or later.
+ **Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.**
+ **Detail-oriented** with strong organizational skills.
+ **Ability to work independently and as part of a team** in a fast-paced environment.
+ **Strong critical thinking, writing, and analytical skills** combined with excellent interpersonal abilities.
+ **Demonstrated work ethic** and a commitment to clients, colleagues, and the communities we serve.
+ **Proficiency in MS Excel and Word required;** experience with digital platforms, data analysis, or project management tools is a plus.
+ **Interest in digital innovation, client service, and retail banking.**

This role has an expected salary equivalent to $25.00 per hour for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position._
