The purpose of this internship is to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization.

The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra.

You will be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge!
The Business and Market Intelligence (BMI) team is made up of 19 full time staff, globally.

As such we are a smaller, but nimble, team.

The intern would likely work – at some point over the course of the program – with everyone
This marketing Internship at Zebra will provide you with the foundation to explore and apply for Zebra's Marketing Development Program (MDP).

The MDP is a two-year, full-time rotational program offering employees the opportunity to learn from experts throughout the marketing organization at our Lincolnshire, IL headquarters.

Responsibilities:

+ The BMI (Business and Market Intelligence) intern will be responsible for assisting key stakeholders in various research / intelligence project execution.

Specifically:

+ develop an understanding of priorities and challenges in key markets

+ facilitate knowledge sharing by crafting, revising and/or proofreading deliverables

+ conduct research using various research tools, online sources, and internal resources


+ Assist Business & Market Intelligence (BMI) team with primary research and survey execution, market sizing and planning deliverables, and competitor research

+ Utilize internal AI tools to answer research related questions

+ Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills

+ Increase technology knowledge and skills

+ Develop team-based work proficiencies

+ Develop interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts through follow up activities

THIS IS A HYBRID INTERNSHIP LOCATED IN LINCOLNSHIRE, IL.

THE EXPECTATION IS AT LEAST 3 DAYS OF IN-OFFICE ATTENDANCE.



Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

+ Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Market Research, Marketing, Communications, Analytics, Consulting or related field of study

+ Must have an anticipated graduation date between December 2026-2027

+ Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with Excel, as well as additional Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Word) and interest in AI tools

+ Detail-oriented

+ Strong writing and online research skills

+ Good communicator

+ Familiarity with statistical methods / analytics

+ Ability to review data and make basic observations

Salary: USD 22.00 - USD 24.00 Hourly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs.

For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement.

In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together.

Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
