This team designs and develops the RF and Electronic hardware that goes in our handheld devices.

This includes all radios, printed circuit boards and battery design.

This entails the core of our products that allow Android OS to run and to be able to communicate with outside networks.

The purpose of this internship is to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization.

The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra.

You will be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge!

Responsibilities:

+ Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills

+ Increase technology knowledge and skills

+ Develop interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts through follow up activities

THIS IS A HYBRID INTERNSHIP LOCATED IN HOLTSVILLE, NY.

THE EXPECTATION IS AT LEAST 3 DAYS OF IN-OFFICE ATTENDANCE.



Qualifications:

+ Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in Electrical Engineering

+ Must have an anticipated graduation date between December 2026-2028 for BS or 2026-2028 for MS

+ Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

+ Basic understanding of electric components

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)

+ Coursework in RF and/or electromagnetics and/or digital communications

+ Completed electronic projects

+ Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow

+ Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences

+ Ability to collaborate as part of a team

+ Effective verbal and written communication skills

Salary: USD 28.00 - USD 40.00 Hourly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs.

For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement.

In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together.

Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
