Co-op: An 8-month long opportunity, Co-op positions are a full-time employment experience.
Co-ops are fully immersed into the worlds of corporate and production industry as a full-time team member.
Internship: A semester long opportunity, Internships positions are a part-time employment experience.
With the opportunity to extend multiple semesters, Interns tap into the foundations of our corporate and production industries.
Co-op and Intern opportunities span across 18 of Bobcat’s different functions.
Role & Responsibility
Develop tests to evaluate functionality and performanceDetermine and test the necessary componentsDetermine loads / conditions to be applied (voltage, temperature, vibration, etc.)Determine physical parameters and monitoring methodsOperate machines or simulators under controlled conditionsRecord and analyze dataBuild or rework prototypes as design changes are madeSet up and operate a structural fatigue testConduct specifications testing on a working modelJob Requirement
Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing in Agricultural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent3.0 or higher GPA preferredBe able to commit full-time to Bobcat for the entire term of the co-op (8 months) or internship (4-months)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)Communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team #WayUp
