Job Description



Roles and Responsibilities:

Principal duties and responsibilities include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.

2nd Shift is Monday - Friday, 4:30 pm - 3:00 am.
+ Complete tool, fixture, and material setup on CNC Swiss style machine (Dual Spindle Dual Turret).

Eurotech Rapido type machines.
+ Running first piece article ready for inspection.
+ Verifying parts by using precision measuring equipment.
+ Changing tools and offsets based in cutting conditions.
+ Using proper methodology and cutting tools to produce quality parts that adhere to production and quality standards.
+ Using proper feed, speed, and other cutting parameters based on work piece metals such as aluminum, stainless steel, Inconel etc.
+ Revising programs as needed based on engineering or production required changes.
+ Participating in troubleshooting on CNC programming and production related issues on the shop floor.
+ Other similar or related duties as required.
+ Some post processing of hardware.



Requirements:
+ Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
+ Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in CNC operation with setup experience.
+ Experience with dual spindle dual turret type of lathe or Swiss machine a plus.
+ Some programming software experience is a plus.
+ General knowledge of GD&T and inspection tools.
+ Minimum High school education or equivalent.

Machinist trade certification a plus.
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
+ Ability to communicate with others effectively in both written and verbal fashion.
+ Experience with precision inspection tooling (calipers, thread gauges, micrometers, bore gauges, air gauges etc.)



Compensation:
+ Salary Range: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour with 10% shift premium in addition to base rate.

Minimum of ten (10) hours of over-time available weekly.

Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
