Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM) is the primary division of Stanley Black & Decker Aerospace.

We are a leading innovator and strategic partner in the manufacturing of fasteners, fittings, and engineered products for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets.

CAM is currently comprised of nine subsidiaries across the United States split among three segments.

**Summary**

The Progressive Die Press Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining progressive die stamping presses to produce high-quality parts according to specifications and production schedules.

This role requires a strong understanding of progressive die operations, safety procedures, and quality control.

The operator will ensure efficient machine operation, minimize downtime, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.

**Essential Duties And Responsibilities**

 **Setup and Operation:**

+ Set up and operate progressive die stamping presses, including loading parts, adjusting feed mechanisms, and aligning dies.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications to ensure accurate part production.
+ Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
+ Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
+ Verifies conformance of finished work-piece to specifications.
+ Inspects parts for quality and appropriate tolerance using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
+ Records the piece count and run time of the production times.

**Education and/or Experience**

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

• Working experience of manufacturing environment.

• A minimum of 0-3 years related industrial machine shop experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
