Job Description

As a WendWell Health ACA Enrollment Expert - Chicago, you will play a key role in connecting low-income individuals and families with affordable healthcare coverage through the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

You will
generate and qualify leads for ACA health plans by engaging your community in-person or virtually, then transfer warm leads to our licensed enrollment partners.

This is not a sales job. You are not required to sell or close.

Your mission is to
identify eligible individuals, provide education, and submit complete ACA lead applications that meet program standards.


No prior insurance license or sales experience required.
All tools, scripts, training, and support are provided.

Please note: This opportunity is in high demand and has limited availability per county.

Requirements

  • Must be 18+ years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must pass a background check
  • Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working in underserved, low-income, or rural communities
  • Able to use a smartphone or tablet for mobile data entry
  • Willingness to attend remote onboarding & training sessions
  • Consistent access to internet, phone, and transportation (for field roles)
  • Reliable transportation required for field roles
  • Comfortable with performance-based compensation (no base salary)
  • 1099 Contractor Status
  • Bilingual or multilingual preferred but not required
  • Able to work independently and hit lead submission goals
