Job description

Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Accessibility Test Engineer located in the San Jose, CA area to work for a worldwide leader in technology.

The Accessibility Test Engineer

Responsibilities of the Accessibility Test Engineer include:

·Conduct accessibility testing on desktop applications (Windows and macOS), web applications (across major browsers), and mobile apps (iOS and Android).

·Evaluate products against WCAG 2.1 and 2.2, Section , and (optionally) EN standards.

·Use assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack to validate user experiences.

Qualifications for the Accessibility Test Engineer include:

·Strong understanding of WCAG 2.1 & 2.2 and Section compliance.

·Experience with accessibility testing tools and techniques across desktop, web, and mobile platforms.

·Proficiency with assistive technologies: JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack.

Compensation for the Accessibility Test Engineer includes:

·$, - $, annually with a comprehensive benefit: Medical, Dental, Vison, k, PTO, holidays, sick leave as required by law

·3 days a week onsite in San Jose, CA
