Sometimes the threat to life, destruction of critical infrastructure or damage to the environment is so severe that a specially trained and equipped security force is needed.

As a Security Officer you are at the tip of the spear when it comes to the advanced security solutions, we provide our clients every day.

Position Requirements:

The Account Manager leads the effort to efficiently and effectively provide guard services and asset (lives, buildings, equipment, data, & intellectual property) protection within the assigned site or region.

The Account Manager will ensure the effective use of resources (manpower, hardware, and software), metrics, and communication so that they provide Purchaser Senior Managers, internal and external Auditors, and shareholders with a high level of confidence in, perceived value from, and support of Purchaser.

This is a position that requires a 24x7 view of Provider's operations and Purchaser's needs both nationally and internationally.

This position is not required at all locations, but if required, will be based at one of the specific facilities they are responsible for.

The Account Manager will be responsible for one large Purchaser facility or for multiple facilities as requested by Purchaser.

Strategically lead and manage a large-scale guard force service and Operations ensuring that it is customer focused, reliable, experiences minimal turnover, and achieves or surpasses agreed upon service level performance and process improvements;

Have overall responsibility and accountability for the Provider’s deliverables and services to Purchaser.

Oversee and have the ability to hire, manage and performance measure all listed job descriptions and operations at the Facility;

Strategize and partner directly with Senior Leadership, Operations, and Loss Prevention to assist and support them in meeting compliance requirements related to IT and/or Physical Security;

Serve as department's liaison and security subject matter expert;

Enhance, track, and report on metrics which are key performance indicators, allowing performance improvements so that the desired outcomes are achieved to plan and in a timely manner;

Ensure that they and their team members understand, align performance and actions with and can clearly articulate the vision and values of the organization and their department;

Accomplish department objectives by establishing action plans, timetables, and outcome measurements, obtaining and allocating resource, reviewing progress and making mid-course corrections;

Achieve financial goals by establishing objectives; developing and monitoring budgets; controlling and reducing costs; optimizing use of department assets;

Ensure invoice accuracy prior to submitting.

Submit weekly invoice snapshot to Loss Prevention

Follow Purchaser’s guard model and act as the shift supervisor when on site

Notify client immediately if staffing level at any site falls below 80%

Demonstrate resiliency and sound judgment in dealing with business challenges;

Be proficient on all Microsoft Office applications and use available resources efficiently

Ensure comprehension of current Emergency Response Plan at all facilities;

Work in an industrial environment that requires walking up to 5 miles a day.

Be onsite for at least 40 hours a week

Ensure proper data is entered into Purchaser’s security guard performance management tool “SPECTER” on a daily basis.

Assists with screening during high traffic periods (breaks, end of shift, etc.)

Report suspicious activity, safety hazards, unusual circumstances and/or behavior, maintenance issues, accidents, Injuries, etc.

Participate in Emergency Evacuation and Take Shelter Events

Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required

  • Make access badges in accordance to SLA
  • Screen associates and determine root cause of activations
  • Monitor post activity to ensure the security of the facility, preventing unauthorized access
  • Review and save CCTV video regarding incidents
  • Complete various logs
  • Complete incident reports by end of shift
  • Respond to alarms in accordance to SLA standards
  • Input Incident Reports in database by end of shift
  • Provide direction and support to associates and assist associates with security matters as needed
  • Conduct patrols and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, unusual circumstances and/or behavior, maintenance issues, accidents, injuries, etc.
  • Monitor building activity to ensure the security of the facility, preventing unauthorized access
  • Conduct various audits
  • Respond to alarms in accordance to SLA standards
  • Provide direction and support to associates and assist associates with security matters as needed
  • Perform escorts if requested
  • Respond and assist with all emergencies
  • Back fills open positions for breaks lunches and/or call offs as needed
  • Makes access badges
  • Participate in emergency evacuation response
  • Other duties as agreed to by the parties
  • Work Environment and Schedule

  • Job operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors.
  • Position requires prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities.
