We have an opportunity in our Livonia, Michigan office for an Account Manager on our AME Automotive team.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, penetrate and support new business opportunities at major OEM Automotive Account.
  • Develop business relationship by promoting ST product portfolio to various groups within the Automotive OEM Account in charge of designing and specifying future vehicle electronics systems and architecture.
  • Implement strategy to influence ST content in electronic systems by identifying in advance key decision makers and working closely with ST Automotive Organization.
  • Communicate effectively both with external customers, partners, and with internal ST business divisions.
  • Manage execution of key programs and technical support activities to ensure customer designs reach maturity with ST devices.
  • Travel 20%

  • BSEE or equivalent Technical Degree required.
  • 6-10 years of experience plus strong technical knowledge in Semiconductor Industry.
  • Understanding of Custom Electronics products (ASICs, ASSPs), Power Management, Sensors, Microcontroller based products, and/or related IC experience.
  • Extensive experience with complex engagements involving custom development.

  • Automotive Sales experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience with Tier -1 and/or Automotive OEM Customer engagement at C-suite, VP level.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in self-directed positions is required.
  • Strategic Thinking and problem solving skills are a must.

    At STMicroelectronics, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    The base annual salary range for this role is between $113,280 - $161,400 USD.
