Part Time 🌟 📍 Allegro Senior Living – Parkland, FL 🕘 Schedule: Thursday-Saturday & Every other Wednesday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM / *weekends are required and some holidays 💵 $17.00/HR 🚗 Must be 21+ to drive company vehicles

We’re looking for a Memory Care Activities Assistant to join our team of rockstars who love what they do and the people they do it for.



As a Lifestyle Assistant (a.k.a. the Fun Captain!), you’ll help plan and lead engaging activities for our memory care residents.

From morning music sessions to afternoon arts & crafts and everything in between, you’ll be at the heart of the action—keeping spirits high and connections strong.





🎨 What You’ll Be Doing (a.k.a. Your Superpowers):


+ Team up with the Program Director to create and run a calendar packed with engaging, uplifting activities.



+ Inspire residents to try new things, move their bodies, use their minds, and connect with others.



+ Coordinate special events, community group visits, and maybe even throw a themed party or two!

+ Help organize transportation (yes, you might be the fun chauffeur now and then).



+ Be a friendly face, a great listener, and a consistent presence that residents and families can count on.






💼 The Basics (Job Requirements):


+ 18+ (21+ if driving the company bus)

+ Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record

+ High energy, warm personality, and ready to make a difference

+ Background check required

+ Senior living experience and CDL a big plus!

The primary responsibility of the Lifestyle Assistant Ensemble Care is to assist the Program Director Ensemble Care in providing a full-time social and activity program in the neighborhood(s) for all residents and families.

Encouraging resident socialization, improving daily living skills, expanding personal interests, increasing physical activity and education.

Making every effort to maintain and expand the lifestyle of all the residents.



Areas of Responsibility


+ Assist the Program Director Ensemble Care in conducting and coordinating scheduled activities seven days a week for all the residents in the neighborhood(s).



+ Assist in preparing the monthly Lifestyle calendar, posting the calendar, and distributing it to all residents.



+ Facilitate and support monthly resident council meetings and other meetings as directed by the Program Director Ensemble Care.



+ Assist the Program Director Ensemble Care in contacting appropriate community groups and volunteers to perform specific activities and to assist in the Lifestyle programs.



+ Assist in scheduling transportation for residents.



+ Be prepared to drive the property vehicles on an as needed basis.



+ Assessing residents’ social and lifestyle activity preferences.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications




+ Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or 21 to drive the company bus.



+ Must possess a valid driver’s license or Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) for the state where the vehicle is operated.



+ Must possess high energy/enthusiasm, decision making, problem solving, planning/organization, and rapport building skills.



+ Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.



+ Must have an acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) record; the record must be checked annually.



+ The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.






Preferred Qualifications


+ Minimum one (1) year of related experience at an independent living, assisted living, or senior nursing facility preferred.



+ Appropriate CDL license preferred.
