Position Information Vacancy Number: F-00227 Position Title: Adjunct Instructor of Mathematics Classification Title: Faculty Department: College of Sciences Administration Employment Type: Part-Time Special Instructions to Applicant:

The Department of Mathematics at Auburn University at Montgomery invites applications for one or more adjunct instructor positions.

The Department seeks candidates with an earned master degree in mathematics, mathematics education or a related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics; teaching experience are highly desirable.

Primary teaching responsibilities for this position will include teaching developmental or introductory level mathematics courses or other courses as appropriate to their specialty.


Auburn University at Montgomery is a comprehensive, public institution located in Alabama’s capital city.

Enrollment is approximately 5000 students.

The Department of Mathematics includes fifteen full-time faculty and offers undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and Mathematics Education.

Graduate level Mathematics courses are also offered to M.Ed students in the College of Education.
