The Music Department at Simpson University seeks qualified adjunct faculty to teach music classes or lessons.

Qualifications
- Expertise in music as demonstrated through educational and/or professional experience

- Supervises employees in accordance with Simpson University policies and procedures
- Support the overflow needs of other departments within the respective university area
- Perform other duties in accordance with this position as deemed necessary by the President
Responsibilities
- Teach classes/lessons as assigned and fulfill teaching responsibilities (as needed) including class/lesson preparation, instruction, grading, and office hours
- Provide additional academic support to students as needed
- Foster a classroom environment that supports student engagement and growth
- Comply with all university policies, procedures, and expectations
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Department Chair
Physical Requirements
- Indoors in a controlled environment
Salary: $26 hourly
