Adjunct Lecturer - College in Prison Program Job Opening In Utica – Now Hiring Suny Polytechnic Institute

SUNY Poly is accepting applications for qualified adjuncts to teach daytime, evening, and online courses in its College-in-Prison Program.

The program currently partners with Mid-State Correctional Facility to deliver courses to incarcerated individuals enrolled in SUNY Poly's Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) program.

We are seeking faculty with the ability to teach upper-division courses (300-400 level) that align with the IDS program and shape the potential concentrations that students can develop; this would include courses within the IDS curriculum itself, as well as courses in disciplines such as Psychology, Sociology, Business, and beyond.

Courses should also be suitable for instruction in a correctional environment.

Minimum Qualifications:


+ Master's degree in a related field from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.

+ Teaching experience.


Preferred Qualifications:


+ Experience teaching in a correctional setting.
