JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Department of Biomedical Engineering in the College of Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for part-time, non-tenure track positions for the fall 5 and spring 6 semesters.
These appointments will be part-time, non-tenure track appointments without benefits and no guarantee of renewal.
Duties will include teaching lecture-based and/or laboratory classes, advising students and helping to assess course learning outcomes.
A Ph.D. or master’s degree in biomedical engineering or a closely related field is required.
Preferred areas of expertise include, but are not limited to engineering design, thermodynamics, numerical simulation, biomechanics, instrumentation, and medical imaging.
Previous teaching experience is preferred.
