Job Overview
The Administrative Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support for the College of Business Administration (CoBA).
Reporting to the six Department Chairs and the Associate Dean, this position supports tenure-track and lecturer faculty, department leadership, the campus community, and the general public.
Key responsibilities include coordinating administrative processes, managing scheduling tasks such as faculty recruitment, and serving as a liaison between search committees and candidates.
The coordinator also oversees department budgets across multiple accounts—including trust funds, UARSC, and invoices—by processing requisitions, ProCard purchases, and travel claims; tracking expenditures; generating reports; and maintaining faculty discretionary and grant account databases.
Additional duties include coordinating course schedules and submitting them each semester through the campus-wide PeopleSoft system.
Position Summary
Administrative Coordinator (Administrative Support Coordinator I)
This is a full-time, non-exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.

Pay, Benefits, and Work Schedule
Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $3,864 - 4,500 per month
CSU Classification Salary Range: $3,864 - 6,072 per month
Salary is commensurate with the background and experience of the individual selected.
This position is offered under the CSU classification and salary structure in effect at the time of posting.
Please note that the CSU compensation system for this classification will transition to a step-based structure following implementation effective October 1, 2025.
Employees in this classification will move to the step system and (new classification) after hire, in accordance with CSU guidelines.
This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave.
In addition, 15 paid holidays are offered each year; 14 scheduled on specific days and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year.
