The Advanced Process Technician is responsible for supporting production processes and equipment by completing preventive maintenance of equipment and troubleshooting equipment problems.




This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is part of the Reagents Manufacturing Team located in Hebron, KY and will be an on-site role.




In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Work directly with manufacturing associates and engineering to troubleshoot and determine corrective actions for issues occurring from production equipment

+ Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

+ Document and report on production activities, performance metrics, and maintenance tasks



The essential requirements of the job include:

+ Education: AA Degree with 6+ years of experience

+ Strong problem solving and analytical skills to be utilized for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing repairs.

+ Experience with PLCs and automation systems

Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

+ Ability to frequently lift items up to 20 pounds individually and occasionally lift up to or greater than 50 pounds with assistance to safely position and move assembly modules

+ Ability to maneuver assembly components by hand in a repetitive manner conducive to efficiency, job specifications, safety, and quality goals.

+ Ability to frequently stand (80%), bend, kneel, lift and sit to accomplish key responsibilities


It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Agile learner that is comfortable working on electro-mechanical automated equipment

+ Understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment

+ Strong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced self-directed environment

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
