Advanced Systems Engineer Job Opening In Redmond – Now Hiring Honeywell

As an Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will design, implement, and manage complex systems, driving innovation, safety, and efficiency.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Redmond, WA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Aerospace.

You will partner with world class engineering and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform numeric evaluation of product design, integration, and qualification activities for new inertial navigation products for internal R&D and customer funded programs.
+ Evaluate sensor & system performance – ex: reading and understanding Root Alan Variance (RAV).
+ Lead trade studies and issue resolution (e.g. FMEA, RCCA) activities.
+ Prepare, review, approve, and present technical documentation and deliverables to internal and external customers.
+ Function as a technical focal with internal customers supporting new product development and communicating technical status.
+ Execute in a cross-functional team setting (interfacing with mechanical, electrical, software, test).
+ Support system design team meetings (SRR, PDR, TRR, CDR, FCA/PCA, TIMs) with internal and external customers.
+ Perform customer flow-down requirement analysis, feasibility assessment, technical solution development.
+ Create system documents development, including but not limited to system-level requirements, Interface Control Document, Hardware Requirements Specification, Performance Verification Test Plan Procedure, Certification documents.

YOU MUST HAVE

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or similar technical field.
+ Due to export controls and ITAR products, candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
+ 4+ years’ experience in a related field.

+ Working knowledge of software development as an engineering discipline, including some programming skills.
+ Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done.
+ Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

The annual base salary range for this position is $106,000 - $133,000.

Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
