What You'll Do

  • Prospecting, relationship-building, and connecting with new and existing clients to learn about their goals and how you can help them achieve them.

    Then you'll create marketing campaigns to make that happen.
  • Selling a mix of customized solutions and digital advertising.
  • Creating and pitching presentations and proposals.
  • Representing Cox Media in the local business community, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Participating in the budgeting and forecasting process.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of cable, broadcast, advertising sales/support or marketing experience
  • Ability to develop new business and achieve individual sales goals
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • A valid driving license, a good driving record, and reliable transportation
  • Motivated team player with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree in a related discipline.
  • A solid understanding of marketing principles and applications in business.
  • Interactive Advertising Bureau certification and/or Google Ad Words certified.

USD 28,600.00 - 42,800.00 per year

Compensation includes a base salary of $28,600.00 - $42,800.00.

The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience.

In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $42,800.00 - $64,400.00.

Benefits include eligible employees taking as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
