**The Work**
The ideal candidate will lead the 20‑plus‑member Aegis Tactical & Support Tools (AT&ST) team, providing functional, technical, and strategic guidance and direction.
The Aegis Tactical & Support Tools (AT&ST) team provides tactical and process automation tool products and services, and automation solutions for Aegis and BMD programs, RMS and IWSS internal customers, and external customers.
Responsibilities in this role include:
• Partner with programs and product teams to highlight the value of our tools and services, thereby securing ongoing funding for continued automation.
• Lead 1LMX automation projects, measure and report the resulting cost savings, and use that data to drive a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Support functional project initiatives to develop and maintain tools and services in support of enterprise/OneLM objectives.
• Interface with external and internal customers to collaborate, review, resolve issues, and make decisions on the strategic plan for tools.
• Functional responsibility for personnel and resource management, performance assessments, team career development and growth, knowledge & skill continuity, staffing analysis, Basis of Estimate (BOE) reviews and approval.

**Basic Qualifications:**
• BS Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM degree with minimum of 8 years job-related experience
• Experience with Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) and Gitlab code repository tools
• Knowledge of Aegis programs and products
• Knowledge of Radar and Weapon Adaptation Data (AD)
• Knowledge of modern software development environments and frameworks
• Knowledge of Software Development Engineering Lifecycle
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and Agile
• Knowledge of CI/CD automation and Gitlab pipelines
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) automation technology knowledge
• Knowledge of the Software Engineering lifecycle
• Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance at the SECRET level
**Desired Skills:**
• Understanding of Configuration Management (CM) practices for controlling product code & documentation
• Knowledge of 1LMX Software Factory (SWF)
• Demonstrated transformation results
• Knowledge of 1LMX and OneLM objectives
• Scrum Master, Product Owner experience
• Certified change practitioner
• Staffing analysis knowledge and Vemo knowledge
• Basis of Estimate (BOE) authoring and genBOE experience
• Certified Cost Account Manager (CAM)
• Strong leadership experience
• Ability to craft a vision, develop a strategic plan, and drive execution to achieve business outcomes
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
