We're hiring an Ag Lender to join a relationship-focused financial institution serving the agricultural community.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the business of farming and enjoys helping producers, landowners, and rural entrepreneurs achieve their financial goals through tailored lending strategies.



What You’ll Do:




  • Build and maintain strong relationships with farm and ag business clients, serving as a trusted financial partner.


  • Evaluate and analyze loan requests, including real estate, operating, and equipment financing.


  • Gather financial information, assess creditworthiness, and structure loan terms that support both the client and institution.


  • Collaborate with internal team members (credit analysts, portfolio managers, financial service reps) to deliver comprehensive solutions.


  • Maintain active prospecting efforts to grow your loan portfolio and expand your client base.


  • Participate in community events and stay actively involved in local agriculture networks.




What We're Looking For:




  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture, finance, business, or a related field.


  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in ag lending, agribusiness, or commercial credit.


  • Familiarity with farm production, agricultural markets, and rural economic conditions.


  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to interpret financial statements and cash flows.


  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
