AI Engineer Opportunity - Hybrid in Charlotte, NC & Phoenix, AZ
W2 ONLY - NO C2C
We’re currently hiring for a Software Engineer to join an exciting project, focused on developing and enhancing an advanced artificial intelligence system.


Candidates should also bring experience with conversational AI platforms such as Google Dialogflow CX or similar, and be comfortable working with LLMs, agentic architectures, and prompt engineering.

Knowledge of tools like ADK or Playbook and a conceptual understanding of machine learning fundamentals and telemetry are highly valued.
Description
Core Technical Requirements
• 6–8 years of Java development (Spring / Spring Boot)
• 4–5 years of Python (backend/data-focused)
• Reactive Programming (WebFlux, etc.)
• Apache Kafka (event-driven architecture)
• Flink (stream processing)
• Redis (caching/performance)
• MongoDB & Oracle (NoSQL & RDBMS)
• RESTful API development
• GraphQL (nice to have)
AI / Conversational Platform Experience
• Google Dialogflow CX or similar frameworks
• Hands-on with LLMs, agentic architectures, prompt engineering
• Familiarity with ADK, Playbook, or similar agentic tools
• Conceptual understanding of ML fundamentals and telemetry
Additional Skills
• Strong debugging/problem-solving
• Microservices, CI/CD, cloud-native (OCP, Kubernetes)
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in banking, fintech, or digital assistant platforms

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $77.00/hr.
