:As an AI Technical Leader, you will be responsible for establishing our AI governance program, leading the development and implementation of AI solutions that align with our business goals.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy AI models and systems, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and efficient.
You will provide thought leadership and help realize the future of work at Barry-Wehmiller.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):Develop and implement AI strategies that align with company objectives.Establish governance mechanisms including policies, procedures and standards for AI and maintain ongoing forums Lead and mentor a team of AI engineers and data scientists.Review and recommend technologies and vendors.Collaborate with change management organization to ensure plans are in place and executed.Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI models and systems.Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate AI solutions into products and services.Ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of AI systems.Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices in AI development.Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables.Communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.Job Specifications:Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Required Education and Experience:RequiredBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in AI and machine learning, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.Experience with AI frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.Preferred PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure (Preferred).Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision.Supervisory/Responsibility:Individual contributor w/no direct reports.Work Environment:This is an in-office positionPosition Type:This is a regular, full-time position with the understanding that a regular workweek will require extended days and hours as needed to meet business needs.
