Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Architect with an active Secret-level Security Clearance to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, a strong understanding of secure environments, and a strategic mindset to drive innovation in mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities:
Architect, design, and implement AI/ML solutions tailored for secure, mission-driven environmentsLead end-to-end ML pipelines, including data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deploymentCollaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and DevSecOps teams to integrate ML models into production systemsEnsure compliance with security, privacy, and ethical standards related to AI/ML in federal environmentsOptimize models for performance, scalability, and accuracy in constrained environments Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior AI/ML practitioners Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks in the AI/ML spaceBasic Qualifications:
Active U.S. Secret Clearance (must be current and verifiable)Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field7+ years of experience in software development and data science roles, with at least 3 years in an AI/ML architect or leadership roleProficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learnExperience designing AI/ML architectures in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or on-premise secure networksStrong understanding of data pipelines, APIs, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and MLOps practicesDemonstrated experience working with large datasets, NLP, computer vision, or time-series dataMust be a U.S. Citizen If applicable: If you are or have been recently employed by the U.S. government, a post-employment ethics letter will be required if employment with VSolvit is offered C
