Position Overview
We are seeking experienced electrical aircraft mechanics to support depot-level maintenance and modification efforts on the VC-25B Program.
This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying aircraft electrical systems and components of moderate complexity.
Key Responsibilities
Perform connector terminations including shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optics Route, seal, wrap, bond, tie, and close wire harnesses and cables per standard procedures Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, specifications, and retrofit instructions Use tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot-level electrical wiring modifications and repairs Assemble, install, inspect, and modify wire bundles and electrical assemblies Conduct operational and quality checks of electrical systems Troubleshoot electrical and comm/nav system malfunctions at the organizational or depot level Interpret work instructions, blueprints, wire diagrams, sketches, and verbal/electronic orders Ensure safe and proper use of all tools and equipment Coordinate movement of materials and tools for assigned tasks Operate electric-powered elevating equipment Maintain required certifications, licenses, and permits Collaborate with senior technicians and mentor junior team members Perform duties across electrical classifications as needed Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ascend/descend ladders, work in confined spaces, lift up to 35 lbs Work on elevated platforms with exposure to noise and electrical components Use personal protective equipment as required Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime based on mission needs Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 4 years of aircraft electrical systems experience Strong understanding of electrical theory and aircraft repair procedures Proficient with aircraft-specific tools (., bond meters, torque wrenches, micrometers) Working knowledge of technical publications and documentation standards Ability to obtain customer access approval (background check required) Preferred:
