Job Description and Duties
Under direction of the Application Development Office (ADO) Supervisor, the incumbent will work on the most complex web applications in cloud computing and data science.
Incumbent must be proficient with Enterprise Cloud computing technologies, Sales Force, ASP.NET Core, Python, JavaScript, SQL, Azure DevOps, GIT and Tableau.
Incumbent will work on most complex information technology systems and problems.
Will work independently as a high-level technical specialist.
The incumbent must have a proficient knowledge of cloud computing and data science concepts, practices, methods, and principles within the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and will act in a lead capacity or work as a team member with other software engineers and represent the section at internal and external meetings supporting the Energy Commission’s Application Architecture.
The incumbent will also serve as a Salesforce Administrator/Developer in the most complex iterative development and operation of the Energy Commission Agreement Management System (ECAMS).
The Salesforce Administrator works closely with functional leaders, organizational units and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify, configure and deploy new business processes to support the enterprise.
The incumbent acts as the overall platform SME and must have experience in Service Cloud case management and assignment, environment set up and configuration, and knowledge of Process Builder, Lightning Flow and Community, etc.
The ITS I will perform duties in the Software Engineering, System Engineering, Information Security Engineering, and Information Technology Project Management domains.

The CEC supports a hybrid workplace model with office-based and remote-centered workers.
