Our work depends on an **Application Support Manager** joining our team to analyze design, develop, implement, and support code for our government customer, the United States Postal Service.

**HOW AN APPLICATION SUPPORT MANAGEMENT** **WILL MAKE AN IMPACT**

In this role, a typical day will include:

+ Technical contributor that will be implementing USPS cybersecurity strategies protecting the digital identities within the network, connected assets, hosted applications and data within the Information Technology (IT) environment.
+ Responsible for tracking, managing, liaison, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement solutions

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:**

**Education** :

+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, preferred but not required.
+ NOTE: If resources do not have a relevant college degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.

**Required Experience** :

+ **5+ years of IT security experience and application of PAM solutions** towards identity and access management efforts
+ Candidates must have strong demonstrated experience in large enterprise IT environment
+ Specific technical knowledge, experience, and certifications with relevant tools such as Beyond Trust, Okta, SCIM integration, Splunk use and knowledge object development, Windows and Linux system administration, Python scripting and automation implementation, directory services including Active Directory, are required
+ Candidates would benefit from having relevant technical certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, RHCE, CPTE, or CEH)
+ Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, ability to build & maintain schedules and step-by-step action plans; strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the demonstrated ability to positively influence peer organization and key stakeholders

**Security Clearance Level** :

+ Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting
+ **_This position has a U.S. residency requirement.

The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions).

Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3 years._**

The likely salary range for this position is $108,979 - $147,443.

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.

Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
