Our work depends on Applications Systems Analyst - Intermediate joining our team to support the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM).
HOW AN APPLICATIONS SYSTEMS ANALYST - INTERMEDIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Under general supervision, formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
- Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
- Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.
- Competent to work on most phases of applications systems analysis activities but requires instruction and guidance in other phases.
- Support the review and analysis of any new requests for system services in order to provide scope and level of effort information to project managers.
- Provide consistent, thorough documentation of Application Systems
- Compile reports of outages, trends and analysis of pertinent information of IT Systems
- Monitor and report alarms ability to triage calls and resolve
- Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in network troubleshooting and support
- May use Case Tools
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience or Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience
- Required Skillset:
- Ability to perform a variety of analytical tasks, which are broad in nature and are concerned with the design and implementation, including personnel, hardware, software and support facilities and/or equipment to provide mission support
- Able to troubleshoot and provide technical support and solutions to users
- Provide guidance to users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches
- Able to communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives
- Clearance Level: TS/SCI
- Required Certification(s):
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract
- IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent
- Location: On Customer Site
- Additional:
- Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract
- Position may require lifting of objects (i.e. IT Hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling (i.e. plug in cables) and other moderately strenuous activity
- Travel may be required to support the mission

The likely salary range for this position is $101,566 - $46,115.
This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
