Overview
Membership Coordinator, Creative Membership at ASCAP (Los Angeles).
The Membership Coordinator will support the creative, strategic goals and initiatives of the Creative Membership Department, reporting to the Vice President.
The role includes interfacing with ASCAP members and their teams, assisting with department projects, and helping to resolve member inquiries.
Knowledge of the music industry and enthusiasm for the L.A. music scene are valued.
Areas Of Responsibility & Accountability
- Interface with ASCAP members (songwriters, publishers) and their teams (managers, attorneys, etc.) pertaining to ASCAP Membership events and members’ inquiries
- Resolve ASCAP member inquiries utilizing ASCAP’s internal systems and software
- Assist and support the Creative Membership Team on various ongoing department projects, goals, and initiatives
- Support the budget management process by tracking and submitting expense reports for the Membership Team
- Contribute to the planning and assist with the execution of events
- Attend ASCAP’s Membership events
- Attend other industry events or concerts, as needed
- Other administrative tasks/duties, as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the L.A. music industry preferred
- Strong eye for detail and superb organizational skills
- Ability to juggle priorities while being a team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Upholding exceptional judgment
- Ability to maintain professionalism with a pleasant demeanor while interacting with members and other industry professionals

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $50,000 per year, determined on an individualized basis.
