Assembler I Job Opening In Washington – Now Hiring ITW

Filtertek manufactures molded filtration and flow control components.

**General Accountability/Support:**

+ To serve as a member of the ITW Medical assembly team in assembling and packaging class II medical devices for distribution to our customers worldwide.
+ To ensure every device assembled and packaged is completed according to all Manufacturing Instructions and Operating Procedures.
+ To practice and encourage courtesy and helpfulness among all team members.
+ To become fully trained in all areas of the work that is performed in a Clean Environment Manufacturing (CEMA).

+ Follow all rules and regulations for the CEMA including proper gowning and de-gowning.
+ Perform end of the day clean up duties as required, and any other required housekeeping

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ To learn the specific duties of each position required as an Assembler I:

Syringe Assembler

+ Assemble components using specified equipment.
+ Inspect products to ensure high quality.
+ Work as a team player to reach daily production goals.

Plunger/Jacket Assembler

+ Inspection and assembly of plungers and jackets.
+ Placement of assembled product into next operational stage.

Barrel Blower and Assembler

+ Use air wash system to aerate the product.
+ Placement of assembled product into next operational stage.

In-line Inspector

+ Know the difference between acceptable and unacceptable parts.
+ Placement of assembled product into next operational stage or follow process if product is rejected.

Builder

+ Build multiple completed stages of product into finished assembly.
+ Placement of assembled product into next operational stage.

Tray Packer/Sealer

+ Place the finished products into the tray according to manufacturing instructions.

Inside Materials Handler

+ Move components to production line and keep lines supplied.
+ Knowledge of procedures, placement, and labeling for material movement.
+ Ensure accurate placement and recording of inventory utilizing Microsoft Excel.

+ To learn the Support Positions in the CEMA.

Pack-out

+ Get crates ready with correct boxes and inserts.
+ Package finished products in boxes.
+ Inspect each box and label.

Component Stager/ Material Handler

+ Prepared components for the following process.

**Qualifications and Skills:**

+ High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
+ This position requires the ability read and comprehend Operating Instructions and Manufacturing Specifications for the work performed.
+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
+ Ability to compute ratios and percentages.
+ This position requires corrected eyesight of 20/20 and the ability to perform close hand-eye coordinated assembly work.
