**What you Will Learn** Skills, systems, and processes critical to aerospace manufacturing within a state of the art facility.Interpretation/Application of tech data to aide in the disassembly and assembly of commercial & military jet enginesForklift, scissor lift, and other PIV trainings **Job Summary:** This is an amazing opportunity for an Assembly and Test InspectorThis is a 2nd Shift Monday -Friday 3:30pm to Midnight.

There is a shift differential offered on 2nd shift.

**What You Will Do** Use a wide variety of power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine assembly and componentsPerform Dimensional and Visual inspections following standardized methods and established techniques.This process may involve surface plate work or standard measuring techniques to verify accuracy of parts, tools, gages, or other equipment.The Inspector will be accepting or rejecting material based on findings.Work from applicable written inspection procedures and engineering drawings.Work with other pertinent instructions to plan and perform dimensional and/or visual inspection on parts, tools, gages and other equipment.Accepting or referring material for rework or quality review based on findings.Use a variety of fixed and variable measuring instruments including automated measuring machines.Program instructions are well-defined will be checking dimensions and record results.Perform necessary mathematical computations to resolve extent of nonconformance and complete appropriate paperwork.Follow Proper procedures to perform in-line checks and verifications of dimensions and make sure that operation sheets are being followed.May be assigned to carry out tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individuals' skills.You will be part of the Aftermarket Operations team supporting the overhaul of PW1100G-JM within the WPB facility.Upon transition into the Aftermarket Operations team, it will be a requirement that the selected individual enter, and satisfactorily remain within the FAA covered work pool.

This role is:Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite.

This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process.

For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.Pratt & Whitney West Palm Beach is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines.

Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing as a pre-employment contingency and also subject to ongoing random testing as an employee per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
