This position involves performing scheduled and routine maintenance work, including preventative and predictive maintenance, diagnosing failures, and writing reports.
You will assemble machines and rotating assemblies, ensuring all parts are restored to OEM condition.
Responsibilities Complete scheduled and routine maintenance work on machinery and equipment.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose failures in rotating assemblies and write detailed reports.
Reassemble machines and rotating assemblies after repairs.
Read blueprints and drawings to measure bearing clearance and shaft diameters.
Dismantle machines when necessary for maintenance or repair.
Move and align machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
Utilize hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools efficiently.
Operate cranes and forklifts.
Use large bearing pullers, torches, and perform light TIG welding.
Install new and existing machinery and equipment, potentially at mill sites.
Troubleshoot equipment reliability issues to ensure continuous operation.
Essential Skills Proficiency in reading blueprints and mechanical assembly.
Experience in mechanical repairs and installation.
Ability to perform welding tasks and use industrial equipment.
Skill in machine alignment and repair.
Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to operate cranes and forklifts.
Experience with using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools.
Knowledge of using large bearing pullers and performing light TIG welding.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
