Job Description

Under direct supervision the Assembly Operator performs routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes.

Must be available to work 2nd shift.

Shifts are determined by business needs.

**What You Will Do**

+ _Technical Tasks:_
+ Perform machine and/or manual assembly.
+ Scope, soldering, and computer work required.
+ Perform unique assembly processes.
+ Accurately read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions.
+ Take ownership of accuracy of processes.

+ _Customer Focus:_
+ Meet internal and external customer deadlines as determined by team.
+ Build parts that meet drawing specifications.
+ Comply with applicable elements of quality systems (ACE).

+ _Special Projects:_
+ Demonstrate initiative to keep processes moving and on schedule.
+ Understand and use computer tools such as SAP and accurately follow work instructions.
+ Achieve special process certification where applicable.
+ Demonstrate a proactive role in problem solving.
+ Pursue certifications in continuous improvement (ACE).

+ _Communication:_
+ Interface with other functional groups to update, inform, acknowledge or resolve problems related to production issues.
+ Effectively interact with others.

+ _Participation:_
+ Participate in cost reduction plans.
+ Participate in waste minimization efforts.
+ Participate in audits.

+ May be required to be on feet for long periods of time.
+ Safety glasses and other safety equipment are required depending on task.
+ Must be able to effectively work in an environment requiring repetitive job responsibilities.
+ Ability to focus on safety and quality is extremely important.
+ Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
+ This position is on 2nd Shift.

Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift.
+ **Training is typically on 1st shift.

Candidates must be willing and able to train on 1st shift for up to 4 weeks.**

**Qualifications You Must Have**

+ Requires HS Diploma or equivalent.

In the absence of a HS diploma or equivalent, 2 years of relevant experience is required.

+ Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift.
