Responsibilities


Under the direction of a Senior Consultant or Manager, the Consultant II will develop and implement solutions for clients that are either consultative or technical in nature that p rovide improvements to the client’s business processes and information technology .

They will be self - managed for short periods and interface regularly with clients and others outside of Wipfli.





Essential Responsibilities :

+ Links the client requirements to standard solutions and service offerings with guidance from senior team members.



+ Oversee smaller segments of work assigned by project managers or other senior team members.



+ Thoroughly documents work with clear explanations to illustrate understanding of concepts.



+ Informs project team leaders of cost, quality and schedule risk s related to the scope of their portion of the engagement.



+ Monitor s own time and budget on projects and communicate s overages and availability in advance .



+ Keeps current on technical and functional issues and attempts to apply them to client circumstances.



+ Mentors Consultant I ’s in their development into Consultant II ’s .



+ Supports the sales process by being aware of sales opportunities for add-ons and escalating Information when needed to determine scope of services to aid in solving client needs.




Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

+ 1 + years of work experience in a professional services firm or 3+ years of private industry experience focused on appropriate technical area

+ Experience in a consulting environment

+ Fixed Asset accounting experience

+ Works toward obtaining additional appropriate certifications .



Preferred Qualifications:

+ ERP system functional experience, Sage Intacct preferred

+ Bachelor’s Degree in related field accounting , consulting , or business management

+ Training, support or consulting advisory experience

+ Experience with compliance or professional standards associated with area of expertise.



+ Self-starter who can work self-directed

+ Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively

+ Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines

The estimated base pay range for this role is $66,000 to $89,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases.

The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.


Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
