Position Summary

MSOE invites applications at all ranks for a full-time faculty position in biomedical engineering beginning in the fall of 2026 at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank.

Academic rank will depend on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.

While applications are welcome in all areas of biomedical engineering, candidates with backgrounds in bioinstrumentation, bioelectronics, embedded system design, and/or AI applications in medical devices are especially encouraged to apply.

Industrial experience is welcomed.



Minimum Qualifications

  • An earned Doctorate in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or a closely related engineering field by the beginning date of the appointment is required.
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering or a related engineering field from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Candidates must be qualified to instruct undergraduate integrated lecture/laboratory courses.
