Job Title: Assistant Background Screening Specialist
Location: Mesa, AZ (Onsite)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Background Screening Specialist to join our innovative team in Mesa, Arizona.
This role is integral to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the background screening process, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the background screening operations, contributing to a secure and trustworthy environment.
Job Responsibilities: Support the Background Screening team by gathering and analyzing data from various sources.
Operate efficiently in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
Communicate effectively with candidates and partners regarding screening processes.
Conduct internal system searches to assist with visitor access.
Create and manage background screening cases in line with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and support investigative cases.
Skills Required: Minimum of 2 years in background screenings or investigations.
Experience managing caseloads and using electronic databases.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act is a plus.
Understanding of the criminal justice system and employment law.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or equivalent education and experience.
