Job Description:
Reporting to the Head Baseball Coach, the Assistant Coach is responsible for working, as directed, with the Head Coach toward the planning and execution of a successful program.
This position ensures the program works within NCAA, MAAC and University rules and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting with all facets of the baseball teamThis position may be assigned to pitching, hitting, defensive and/or other skill instructionFurther, as assigned, work with the Head Coach to:Assist with off-field responsibilities, including but not limited to recruiting, strategic planning, scouting reports, equipment maintenance and baseball analyticsSupervise team Study HallSupport community engagement and player leadership development initiativesConduct fundraising eventsAssist with practice planning and execution (including BP, fungo hitting, etc)Assist, as assigned, with the JV/Developmental programJob Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree required.Successful collegiate coaching and/or collegiate playing experience desired.Review of candidates will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.Salary/Hours/Benefits
