Bryn Mawr College has an opening for an Assistant Director for Student Integrity and Leadership Development.


The Assistant Director for Student Integrity and Leadership Development plays a pivotal role in fostering a values-centered, inclusive, and engaged campus community at a liberal arts residential women’s college.

Rooted in the institution’s commitment to student empowerment and holistic education, this position bridges the areas of student conduct and leadership development to support students as they navigate challenges, deepen their self-awareness, and grow into ethically grounded leaders.

This role is ideal for a professional passionate about restorative practices, identity-informed leadership, and cultivating a campus culture of integrity and care.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Conduct & Community Standards

  • Administer Honor Board and Dean’s Panel cases through a developmental and restorative lens, with attention to identity, equity, and student voice.

  • Collaborate with faculty and campus partners to support a learning-centered approach to behavioral accountability.

  • Develop and implement reflective and educational sanctioning models that connect conduct issues with personal growth and community impact.

  • Provide outreach, training, and education around student conduct, restorative justice, and conflict transformation.

  • Serve as a conduct officer and advisor to the student-led Honor Board.

  • Leadership Development

  • Design and lead leadership development programs rooted in justice-oriented frameworks.

  • Facilitate workshops, retreats, and cohort-based learning experiences for emerging leaders, student organizations, and residential communities.

  • Promote leadership as a practice of self-authorship, relationship-building, and social change.

  • Collaborate across campus to embed leadership education into co-curricular and academic spaces.

  • Mentor and advise student leaders, leadership fellows, or peer facilitators.

  • Community Engagement & Institutional Support

  • Participate in divisional initiatives and committees focused on student thriving, retention, and engagement.

  • Contribute to ongoing assessment and strategic planning within Student Life.

  • Serve as a visible, accessible presence in the residential campus community.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of institutional mission.

  • Qualifications

    Required:

  • Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Counseling, or related field.

  • At least 2 years of post-master’s experience in student conduct, leadership development, or a closely related area.

  • Knowledge of student development theory, restorative justice, and inclusive leadership models.

  • Experience working with college-aged women and/or gender-diverse students in identity-affirming and strengths-based ways.

  • Preferred:

  • Familiarity with liberal arts education and residential community life.
  • Experience advising student groups or teaching/facilitating reflective leadership content.
  • Strong relational, facilitation, and crisis response skills.
