Position Information Position Title Assistant Director for Testing Services Requisition Number S02181P Position Category Staff Campus Location Weber State University - Ogden, UT Hours per week 40 Months per year 12 Alternate work schedule Pay Grade E32 Salary FLSA Exempt Job Summary/Basic Function The Assistant Director for Testing Services aids the Director with any issues involving the hourly proctor staff as well as issues with the salaried staff as assigned by the Director.
This position will be in charge when the Director is away, including attending meetings.
They will be part of decision-making with upline on staff issues, including discipline and organization issues.
Non-exempt positions at Ogden campus will report to the Assistant Director, such as the nights and weekends Testing Specialist as well as the daytime Testing Specialist II.
This position will also take on the Block Party, Ogden Campus Fall Orientation, and the mentoring initiative.
Another prime responsibility is the management, training, and negotiation of all third party/professional exams like CLEP, PRAXIS, and Pearson Vue.
With that comes the supervising duties of the National Test Proctor Team of approximately 5-6 employees, including their certifications.
This position will have a close relationship with the Director on the trajectory of the department as a whole.
Assistant Director will serve on the Policy Committee and the Training Committee.
