Summary
American Progress has an immediate opening for an Assistant Editor to join its Digital Communications team.
The Assistant Editor serves primarily as a copyeditor for American Progress, helping assure the quality of publications ranging from research reports to daily columns.
Working in a fast-paced, journalistic environment, the Assistant Editor also helps with the daily production of the website.
The successful candidate will be driven by American Progress’ mission to improve the lives of all Americans through bold, progressive ideas, as well as strong leadership and concerted action, with the aim of not only changing the conversation, but changing the country.

This position is part of a bargaining unit represented by IFPTE Local 70 and has a compensation range of $25.97–$29.86 per hour, approximately $54,000–$62,100 per annum.
