**Job Summary**

**The Leeds School of Business** at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor in the Finance Division starting in Spring 2026 or Fall 2026.

This non-tenure position primarily involves teaching courses within the Division's Personal Financial Planning Program (a CFP Board registered program) and actively contributing to initiatives that support the growth of the PFP Program.

**What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be**

+ The Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor will be required to teach seven classes per year, with possible assignments at the undergraduate and master levels as well as across the fall, spring, and summer semesters.
+ The position also requires engagement with the Leeds Centers and divisions that collaborate in the creation and delivery of curricula pertaining to the assigned courses.
+ Service responsibilities will primarily involve actively supporting PFP Programs initiatives, including curriculum and course development, student recruitment, community outreach, and student experiential learning opportunities.

**What We Can Offer**

This is a multi-year contract and 100% appointment.

The salary for the **Assistant Teaching Professor** is $133K-$140K and for the **Associate Teaching Professor** is $140K-$146K.

**What We Require**

+ A Master's, Ph.D., J.D., or Ed.D. degree in Personal Financial Planning (PFP), Finance, Consumer/Family Economics, or related field
+ Professional practice experience that is directly or closely related to personal finance, personal financial planning, or wealth management
+ Evidence of teaching effectiveness in Personal Financial Planning curriculum
+ Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
+ At the **Assistant Teaching Professor** level, candidates must demonstrate strong teaching ability and a record of service and professional development, with evidence of potential for growth in leadership contributions.
+ At the **Associate Teaching Professor** level, candidates must present a more extensive record of documented teaching experience, typically at the faculty rank of Associate or Instructor within a CFP Board registered program, as well as demonstrated experience in program development and professional engagement, along with evidence of leadership contributions within academic or professional settings.
