The Role

As a key member of the USTA Training Center Operations team, you will play an integral role in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment for our student-athletes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Enforcing facility policies and procedures as directed by the Director of Training Center Operations.
  • Assisting in the supervision of athletes ages 13–18 and monitoring activity within the Lodge during assigned hours.
  • Supporting and participating in off-court Life Skills programs designed for resident and non-resident athletes.
  • Managing and overseeing guest access to the Player Development facility, including coordinating player and guest check-ins.
  • Serving as a resource to the Resident Assistant in fostering a positive and welcoming environment within the Training Center.
  • Building relationships with resident athletes and being available to support their personal and academic needs.
  • Assisting in the upkeep and cleanliness of Player Development facilities through basic maintenance and housekeeping.
  • Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of USTA vehicles and preparing trip reports as required.
  • Transporting student-athletes, staff, and USTAPD guests safely and reliably.
  • Who You Are

  • Experience in facility operations or a related field is preferred.
  • A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organized and dependable, with a commitment to enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Supportive and approachable, with the ability to assist student-athletes with diverse needs.
  • Comfortable and confident driving an 11-passenger van.
  • Holds a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Capable of performing light maintenance and ensuring facility cleanliness.
  • Proficient with digital tools and platforms, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Part-time position, up to 28 hours per week.

  • What We Offer

    The expected salary for this position is $18.00 hourly rate.

    This rate does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify.

    The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job
