*Job no:* 528484 *Position Type:* Faculty Full Time *Campus:* UMass Boston *Department:* Computer Science *Pay Grade:* 03 *Date opened:* 01 Oct 2025 Eastern Daylight Time *Applications close:* *Job Description* The Computer Science Department at the University of Massachusetts Boston invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position to begin September 1, 2026.

We will consider strong candidates in any research area but will prioritize Artificial Neural Networks.

A PhD in computer science or a related area is required.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and start-up package and is expected to establish a highly recognized, robust externally funded, and independent research program.
