Description
The Department of Marketing at the John Chambers College of Business and Economics, West Virginia University, in Morgantown, WV, invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in Marketing.
Candidates with expertise in any area of Marketing are encouraged to apply, with priority given to those specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Consumer Behavior, Sales, or Strategy.
The position will begin in fall 2026 and will be a tenure-track 9-month appointment.
Successful candidates will be capable of teaching at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral level, be able to serve on doctoral dissertation committees, and exhibit a strong record or potential to publish their research in high-quality outlets.
Other responsibilities include service-related functions to the department, college, and university.
Qualifications
Candidates must have successfully completed a in Marketing or related field by August 2026.
All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

The John Chambers College of Business and Economics is AACSB accredited and offers undergraduate majors in: Accounting, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance, General Business, Global Supply Chain Management, Hospitality and Tourism, Management, Management Info Systems and Marketing.
Master’s degrees in: Business Administration, Business Cybersecurity Management, Economics, Business Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Human Resource Management, Forensic and Fraud Examination, Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination Graduate Certificate, and Professional Accountancy.
The College also has programs in Economics and in Business Administration, with concentrations in Accounting, Finance, Management and Marketing and Doctor of Business Administration.
The College is located in Morgantown, a college town with high quality of life, within driving distance of Pittsburgh and Washington, DC.
