**Description**

The Department of Neurology, University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor in the area of movement disorders at Strong Memorial Hospital.

The ideal candidate is a BC/BE neurologist or movement disorder neurologist who is committed to becoming an active member of the clinical, educational, and research programs and who thrives in a collaborative environment of patient care, scholarship and mentorship.

To the extent possible, we seek to align the applicant’s career development goals with those of the University and Department.

We also seek a candidate with outstanding interpersonal skills, integrity, warmth, good humor, and a high level of energy who can celebrate one’s own accomplishments, as well as the accomplishments of the entire program.

The program offers outstanding opportunities for 1) participation in a multidisciplinary movement disorders team; 2) develop research/academic interests; 3) teaching of residents, fellows, and students.

**Qualifications**

Applicants must be eligible to obtain a New York State medical license and pass pre-employment drug testing and a BC/BE neurologist.
